We all know how quickly the weather can change in Thunder Bay, Minnedosa, and Morden! As a summer business, Splish Splash relies on good weather to open — and sometimes, the decision isn’t easy. We check the forecast every morning and do our best to make the right call for our guests, staff, and business.

Our lifeguards often travel up to 30–45 minutes to work, so last-minute changes are tough. If we close and the weather improves, we can’t always reopen. That said, we’ve learned over the years that cool days (19°C or less) tend to be quiet, as most people wait for warmer ones — and we totally get that!
